OCR: HELP for main function selection menu The main menu in ZCOMM provides one-key access to the major functions that have been defined for your use as owners of the system. Remote users have a separate function menu from which to select. b) BBS Call bulletin board or computer system This option displays a selection menu of defined phone numbers that have associated scripts to get you into each system. d) DISCON Hangup on current call This option disconnects the current call, returns the modem to useful state, and redisplays the menu selection screen. You may also use the 2COMM command: call hangup to disconnect the call. e) EDIT Invoke text editor with e. bat This option invokes the editor using the E. BAT file which is in the current PATH . h) HELP Information on ZCOMM menu system A suboption menu is displayed. file is displayed with the "m" selection. You may select help options from there. This m) MAINT Maintenance of system phones list This takes you to a submenu where you may manipulate the file of systems to access. You may add, delete, or update entries. D) ONLINE Return to session in progress This option returns to the current call in progress yet remains under menu scrip control. This option is used when you've exited to ZCOMM command mode using F1 or some other method and want to return to script-driven control over the terminal session. It's not necessary to remain under script control while in session, but it's usually neater. p) PASSWORD Set current password The 2COMM menu system takes you to edit the zmnuparm. ini file. s) SETUP Set menu operating parameters The menu system has several global operating parameters that are stored in the ZMNUPARM. INI file that you may set that determine the appearance of menus and the overall processing characeristics. See the setup menu help information. You may use the e. bat file to invoke your system editor or use the built-in menu dialog to update zmnuparm. ini user parameters. After updating the zmnuparm. ini system file, delete file zmnuparm. t and issue command: call setup to rebuild the "hot start" script. I) QUIT Go to 2COMM Command mode This takes you to ZCOMM command mode. To return, issue command "call menu" J) GOODBYE OFF 2COMM - go back to DOS or wherever This option takes you out of the ZCOMM system after you respond to a prompt for verification of exit.
